This application turns text into music. You can use it for inspiration for melodies. The result varies from chaos to really interesting unconventional melodies.

Type or paste text into the text area. Then click the buttons to either listen to a preview of the melody in the browser, or to save the midi file. This application was only tested in Google Chrome so if you are having trouble using it, try again in Chrome.
